Pelli Sintetiche

La pelle è la superficie del tamburo colpita dal battente. Le pelli si distinguono in battenti e risonananti. La pelle su cui si esegue fisicamente il colpo è la battente, in genere più resistente e composta da più di uno strato di materiale e viene sistemata nella parte anteriore. La pelle risonante è invece posta sotto il tamburo e ha la funzione di esaltarne la risonanza e gli armonici; La pelle risonante non è fatta per essere suonata ed è fisicamente diversa dalla pelle battente. È costituita da un singolo strato di materiale.
Le pelli sintetiche piu' apprezzate sono prodotte da Remo, Evans, Aquarian e Tama.
