Il DDJ-REV1 si presenta come controller entry level proveniente dalla nuova serie di controller DDJ-REV,  nonostante le dimensioni compatte, emula il layout di un mixer professionale DJM-S + un setup con giradischi PLX, caratteristiche apprezzate in particolare modo da DJ open-format, che praticano scratch nei loro set. Il prodotto è compatibile esclusivamente con Serato DJ Lite, le versione entry level del popolarissimo software per DJ, disponibile anche l’upgrade a Serato DJ Pro (opzione a pagamento). In abbinamento al prodotto, è disponibile come accessorio venduto separatamente la DJC-REV1,la borsa EVA durashock realizzata appositamente per trasportare il controller.
